SITE RECORDS · ACCOUNT & DATA

Delete your account or data

Choose the instructions for the mode you use.

TEAM: delete your account

In Site Records, open Settings, then My account, and choose Delete account. Follow the password confirmation steps. This permanently deletes your sign-in account and profile. Projects you own as Project Admin, including their reports, photos and other project data, are also deleted.

Your membership is removed from projects owned by other admins. Records already contributed to those projects remain under their Project Admin’s control. You can delete your own reports before deleting your account; you cannot delete another admin’s project.

SOLO: delete local data

SOLO has no Site Records user account. Open Settings and choose Delete all data to erase the local records held by the app on that device. Exported reports and backups you saved outside the app must be deleted separately from their storage location.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address used for your TEAM account, with the subject “Site Records account deletion”. We will verify account ownership before processing the request. Do not send your password.

Request deletion: admin@site-records.app

To request deletion of specific reports or other data while keeping your account, use the same email address and describe the records concerned. Requests concerning another admin’s project are subject to that admin’s control.

What is kept, and for how long?

We do not apply an additional retention period to the account profile or deleted owned-project content. Server cleanup and subscription-provider deletion run asynchronously and retry if a service is temporarily unavailable. Minimal project deletion markers, without the owner’s email or account ID, prevent old devices from restoring deleted projects.

Records in projects owned by other admins remain until that admin or an authorised user deletes them. Copies exported or backed up outside the app are controlled by the person who saved them. App-store billing records are controlled by Apple or Google.

Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription through the store where you purchased it.
